Hey guys. So this is my first 2018 post. I know this  is late but Happy New Year to everyone. I hope you all had a good start to 2018. Initially I wanted to title this post “New Year, New Me” but I decided, no, I think “Reflections” would be a much more appropriate description of my transition into the new year. Well, 2017 was quite a tough year for me, but it also came with a lot of positives.  I got to know myself a little better, finally learned to put myself first and made a decision to stop tolerating toxic behavior be it with relationships, family or friends. Most importantly, I learned to appreciate and love myself more and give myself credit when it was due. I am not perfect, but I always work hard in order to achieve my goals. I would not say in this new year, there is going to be a new version of me, however, I am still the old Paida, just a little bit more stronger and wiser. I hope you all find new strength and inspiration to achieve whatever it is that you have set your minds to in this new year.I want to thank each and everyone of you who read and supported my blog in 2017. I appreciate you all and I will try to be more consistent and create more creative content for you guys in 2018.  Now lets talk about my outfit. I purchased this gingham trench coat last season at NEXT and I got a chance to wear it this weekend. Even though it is an XS, it is absolutely huge. I love over-sized coats and I paired it with a simple turtleneck and some straight leg jeans. I kept the rest of the outfit quite simple because the coat is the star of the outfit for me. Wearing it draped over my shoulders adds a relaxed chic vibe to it. The coat is no longer available but I will link a similar one down below. I recently discovered LOVISA and I love it. They cater to every jewellery style from small delicate pieces to big chunky boho-chic pieces. When I saw this layered gold chain, I fell in love with the pendant detail. It is so chic and I see myself pairing it with a lot outfits. I was sad to see that they do not have an online store yet, but they have a few physical stores around the UK and their website navigates you to one of them near you. I linked their website below. Thank you for reading and have a great weekend.
