SPRING STAPLES

Hey guys. I hope you are all well. So, I decided to take a brief hiatus from blogging. I just wanted to figure out a few things and what direction I wanted to go. I also had a lot of important things to sort out in my life. I must admit, I did not even realize I needed a break, and taking some time out did me good. Now, I know exactly what I want to deliver in terms of blogging and executing my vision.

Sometimes, we overstretch ourselves and it always results in burnout. It’s important to take a break and take care of yourself so that you can be the best version of you. To everyone who checked up on me, sent me DM,s, phone calls and texts, I truly thank you guys and I appreciate the love. I received DM’s from people who I did not even know read my blog. This little platform of mine gives me so much joy and I truly appreciate the sweet messages some of you guys sent me.

Now, onto this outfit. The weather has been all over the place lol. I am not even sure if we are still in spring or not. I paired a classic spring staple, a boucle jacket, with a very simple base, white trousers and a white bodysuit. I really like all white outfits, and a simple base like this enables me to pair this outfit with several combinations of colors. I wore some pink neon sandals which complement the shades of pink on the jacket. Initially, I wanted to wear this outfit with some black sandals, however, I thought to myself, wear something more fun. I love neutrals, but I want to start experimenting with more colors in my wardrobe while staying true to my style and, I think I did just that with this outfit. I added my trusty boater. I love hats and I am going to put this one to good use this spring/summer. Thank you for reading and have a great weekend.
